The SOVA Venue Score is a 10-dimension rating system. You can only submit a review after 120 verified minutes inside the venue (geofence + dwell-time gate, server-checked). 100 XP per submission. The dwell-time floor is structural, not a moderation policy. That is why MYSOVA reviews beat Google or Tripadvisor on London bars.

10 review dimensions, not five stars

Atmosphere, music, cocktails, service, crowd, value, queue, lighting, decor, ventilation. Each dimension scored independently. A loud cocktail bar with poor ventilation and great music does not get a single muddied 4-star average — it gets honest per-dimension data.

Phone-verified members who shared the bar with you on the same night surface in your Paths feed. Mutual CROSS unlocks a conversation. Hard database constraint — you only path with people who actually shared the floor with you.

XP receipts make every visit count

Server-attributed XP for every check-in. Multiplied by zone, tier, party size, and subscription. Diminishing returns kick in after 5 / 8 / 10 venues a night to keep the game honest. The bar visits add up to a real progression.

How does MYSOVA stop fake bar reviews?
Two structural gates. First, only phone-verified members can submit. Second, an SVS submission requires 120 verified minutes inside the venue (geofence + dwell-time, server-checked). A reviewer who never set foot in the bar physically cannot rate it. Astroturfing is not a moderation problem on MYSOVA — it is mechanically blocked.
Can bars pay for better placement?
No. Tier governs base check-in XP and venue-side tools (Boost, Live Loyalty Rewards). Tier does NOT govern feed visibility or search ranking. Every bar is on the map free regardless of operator engagement.
Can I redeem a Live Loyalty perk anywhere?
Perks are venue-specific and venue-activated. The bar opts in to Live Loyalty Rewards, sets the perk catalogue, and the in-venue redemption flow ties to your active check-in. You see the perk badge on the map pin and tap to redeem.
Are alcohol perks legal under UK rules?
MYSOVA is designed to follow UK CAP / ASA marketing rules, the Online Safety Act 2023, and the Licensing Act 2003. Live Loyalty Rewards default to non-alcohol perks (queue skip, free entry, table reservations, cloakroom comp, soft drinks). Alcohol perks require 18+ age-verified members and are reviewed against CAP Section 18 before publication.
Are pubs included or only bars?
Both. The 485 venues include pubs, bars, late-night cocktail venues, members' bars, hotel bars, rooftops, and licensed nightclubs. The product makes no operational distinction between a Soho speakeasy and a Camden indie pub — both earn XP for check-in, both can submit SVS reviews, both can run Live Loyalty.
